The Kingsley Condominium is an Upper East Side favorite. Every possible service is available within three blocks, from quality grocery stores to French bakeries, from shoe repair shops to movie theatres and pizza parlors. The area is shopper-friendly and very safe. Some of the best restaurants in Manhattan are within five blocks, not to mention the Museum Walk and Central Park, which lays a pleasant stroll away. The Kingsley’s personnel is one of the most friendly and courteous you’ll ever encounter. Every visitor is politely announced. All deliveries are handled in one’s absence, and the staff is available to provide a number of services, from laundry delivery and pickup to cleanups and small errands.
Built in a sober, contemporary style, the building has a large hall, serviced by a comfortable waiting area with wi-fi, a mail room, two elevators and a freight elevator, which is used by the staff via a delivery entrance, and a Gym room with a stunning skyline view, equipped with new run-mills, exercise machines and TV sets. Laundry rooms and convenient trash chutes are located on every floor.
The nearest subway station is Hunters College, on 3rd and 68th. Three bus lines run up 1st avenue and down 2nd avenue. A new subway line and subway station is being built at the corner of 72nd Street and 2nd Avenue (literally two blocks away). The new line should be ready on November 2015.
