The nearest subway station is Hunters College, on 3rd and 68th. Three bus lines run up 1st avenue and down 2nd avenue. A new subway line and subway station is being built at the corner of 72nd Street and 2nd Avenue (literally two blocks away). The new line should be ready on November 2015.
